Q: What are your hobbies?
A: My hobbies are sports, reading, and studying history.
Q: How long have you been teaching?
A: I have been teaching for 20 years, ever since 1999.
Q:What is your favorite thing about teaching?
A: Helping my students learn about history, because history is important.
Q: Which class do you like most?
A: I like all my classes the same, but 7-236 tries the hardest.
Q: What made you think that you were going to be a teacher?
A: From the time I was 10 years old, I realized that I was going to be a teacher because I would always ask a lot of questions and always look for answers.
Q: What are the standards for the students in your class?
A: I would love students to be productive and successful citizens for the future.
Q: How do you expect kids to behave in your class?
A: Attentive and ready to learn, and know how to use technology.
Q: Do you talk with and try to help your students that are failing your class?
A: Yes, I do try to help all my students that are in danger of failing.
Q: When a student misbehaves in your classroom, what do you do?
A: I give him/her a warning, I try to handle the situation with the student before before having to call their home.
Q: Do you have a close relationship with all your students in your classes?
A: Yes, I do because most of my students have a lot of things in common with me.
Q: Do you watch your students carefully to see if they understand the subject?
A: Yes, I do, it’s important that all students understand history, so the same mistake can’t be repeated.
