Student receives 'Honorable Mention' for bookmaking contest.

Our 8th grade student, Mubinabonu Arapbaeva received an honorable mention in the the Ezra Jack Keats bookmaking competition. Her book, A Day at the Zoo, received an honorable mention for "skilled use of ink and tempera paint."

Arapbaeva worked through her lunch periods and at home on her book, with assistance and support from our art teacher, Mrs. Michelle Pellicchia.
