Admissions & How to Apply
Infinity is the only screened program
in District 22
Applying to Shell Bank Middle School is simple, but timing is key.
The New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) system screens students for Infinity school admissions based on their 4th-grade academic report cards.
When applying to Shell Bank on your middle school application, you will see two distinct program options:

The Standard Track: Our core middle school curriculum focused on strong academic growth and community.

The Infinity Program: Our specialized track for accelerated learners. If your child is ready for high school rigor and Regents exam fast-tracking, you must explicitly select the Infinity Program option on your application.
Make sure your 4th-grade marks reflect your child's hard work, and look for the Infinity designation when submissions open!
