Housed in a dedicated wing of Shell Bank, the Infinity Program for Accelerated Learners will focus on three primary components.

Enrichment

Enriched learning experiences will allow students to explore individual interests, take full advantage of personal qualities (such as learning styles and personality), socialize with compatible peers, and utilize their instructor as a mentor and coach.

Acceleration

Curricula is adapted to include fewer introductory activities and less repetition. Adaptations will be made based on pre-assessment of content knowledge. The time saved will be used for more advanced content instruction or to participate in enrichment activities.

Advanced Curricula

Accelerated students will engage in learning designed for deep understanding of content.

Students in the Infinity Program will have the opportunity to prepare for the Specialized High Schools Admission Test (SHSAT) starting in the 6th-grade. Students in the program will also be expected to take Regents courses in 8th-grade.
